# How AI assistants route demand across European classifieds

## The question

When a buyer asks an assistant for a used item, a car or a flat in their own language and city, which platform does the assistant send them to — and does the listing it shows still exist at the price it quotes?

## Coverage

- 5 European markets, 4–5 languages
- ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude with web search
- About 12,000 queries across goods, cars and property or services
- 200 manual calibration runs in the consumer apps

## Method

The same method as our audits: repeated runs per cell, every reading stamped with model and date, links checked live, and a manual sample to measure how far API answers are from what consumer apps show. Read more on the method page.
