# What changes if I change price, returns or copy?
Short answer: Sometimes a lot — models react to ratings and price far more strongly than people do. Test the change on the agents before you ship it to everyone.
## What the research shows
- **30–80 pp** — A product rating shifted model choice by 30–80 percentage points in 14 of 17 models, against 5 points for people. [ABxLab, arXiv 2509.25609, 2025, independent](https://arxiv.org/html/2509.25609)
- **100%** — Simulated shopping agents never declined to buy — 100% conversion against 66% for people. [Wadi & Ma, arXiv 2608.22697, 2026, independent](https://arxiv.org/pdf/2608.22697)
- **64%** — About 64% of the top-5 brands changed between adjacent runs of the same assistant question. [MentionBird, 2026, vendor](https://www.mentionbird.ai/blog/chatgpt-vs-gemini-answer-stability)
## Offer lab
B4 · from €1,000 (per experiment) · indicative · scoped per engagement
Test copy, price, returns or badges before you ship them.
- One change tested against your current offer
- Enough runs to detect a 2.5-point shift
## What you get
We run your current offer and one change side by side on the same scenarios and models, with enough runs to detect a shift of about 2.5 points.
**One change, before and after**
| Variant | Chosen | Change | 95% interval |
| ------------------- | ------ | ------ | ------------ |
| Current offer | 24% | — | 22–26% |
| Free 60-day returns | 29% | +5 pts | +3 to +7 |

## What this does not claim
- Agents in simulations almost never refuse to buy, so we report which option they choose, not a conversion rate.
- One experiment tests one change; combinations need their own runs.
## Request this instrument
We reply with a scope, a fixed price and a start date.
Agents: POST /api/engagements (application/json) with {"offer_id": "B4", "on_behalf_of": {"email": "…"}, "agent": {"name": "…"}}. The person confirms by email before we see the request. Details: /agents.md
